I am so excited, I’ve officially launched my blog today! I’ve been working really hard to get everything up and running and I can finally just start sharing with you guys.
Today is also Valentine’s Day! It’s Brandon and I’s third Valentine’s day together, which is just crazy. From our first Valentine’s day to this one, so much has changed. We are no longer long-distance (thank you Lord), we have a house and two pups (one of them is actually insane), and, the most exciting one, we’re engaged (WOOO!!!) I’m going to get mushy here for a second, but Brandon is everything I’ve prayed for. I’m extremely lucky to have him by my side each and every day.

Tonight we decided to keep it comfy for our Valentine’s Day and eat leftovers from our lunch date at Maggiano’s and hangout with our pups! The one you see up there is Tucker; he may or may not be the most human-like dog out there. If you live in the Nashville area and have not tried Maggiano’s yet, I highly recommend trying it! The service is great and the food is even better. As far as my outfit, my shirt is literally the most comfortable shirt of all time. It’s a workout shirt from Target that I’ve linked here. I have it in two different colors and I love them. It’s also less than $20.00, which is awesome! My leggings are a great staple item to have for any day from Victoria’s Secret. You can never have too many pairs of black leggings!

I personally love Valentine’s Day. I think it’s a day that reminds us to be grateful for the loved ones we have in our lives. Those loved ones aren’t just limited to our husbands/wives/girlfriends/boyfriends though! My parents are just as much my valentine’s as Brandon. They’re both the sweetest valentines out there, always sending us a card or cookies wishing Brandon and I a “Happy Valentine’s Day!” Doing little things like that for the people you care about is what Valentine’s Day is all about to me. Even a phone call or text message letting your friend or sibling know what they mean to you could make their Valentine’s Day really special.

I am beyond happy that I get to start this journey with My Blissfully Southern and I hope you follow along with me! I’ll leave you guys with one of my all-time favorite verses from the Bible, which really fits the theme of today:

“And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.” Corinthians 13:13
